CLASSES

PD takes one modern and one ballet class per week, each for an hour and a half. These are taught by our artistic director, Rachel Kantra Beal, and other professionals from the Philadelphia area.

Classes are a fun, low-pressure, and supportive place to build technique and artistry while experimenting with new styles, teachers, and choreography.

WORKSHOPS

Throughout the year, members of PD have the opportunity to teach a workshop featuring a class in any style of dance or a combination of their creation. Workshops in the past have included Horton modern, tap, jazz, floor work, Rockette, classical ballet variations, partner work, yoga, meditation, stretch, pilates, Graham modern, tumbling, and much more.
